We were very disappointed the way they treated us, and I would not recommend this to anyone because the receptionist are so rude and discriminatory. I would like to share my experienced about opus one winery which is one of the wineries that we've visit that day Dec. Just came home from San Francisco vacation which Napa Valley is one of our destination. Anyone with negative comments probably has not visited many different wineries. We are going back in October of this year and already have a reservation. The view from the terrace is also fabulous. The wine is absolutely divine and worth every penny. After going to Benziger and viewing their outdoor destemming and crushing machinery that they promised is cleaned before the crush begins (while I am sure they do since it is used outside I would like to know how they keep bird droppings, windborn leaves, etc, from getting into the crusher), it was a relief to see something so clean at Opus! Anyone who has been to more than one winery will tell you that the portion of the tasting at Opus is indeed a full serving of 4 ounces most wineries will give you less than one ounce! You will never get a "full glass" at any tasting since you will not be able to swirl the wine to bring out the aroma and color of the wine. The interior of the winery is immaculately clean and no detail is overlooked. After visiting numerous other wineries there is nothing to compare. We visited Opus One in June of 2006 and it more than lived up to the hype.
